“I’m delighted to meet you, my love,” he beams.

But not all attempts at love go so smoothly.

Tristan Black can barely put a sentence together, painting a very real picture of wedding day nervousness.

Personal trainer Sara Mesa is then seen crying as she reads her vows.

Meanwhile, Lucinda Light, 42, exudes confidence in her stunning dress and statement headpiece.

She was heard boldly telling her groom, “I’m going to dinner, the show…and dessert!”

The ever-quotable Richard Sauerman, 62, declares bluntly: “I'm not for everyone, but damn, I still drink coffee.”

This sincere approach is reflected in 51-year-old Andrea Thompson, who confidently jokes about her instant connection with her groom.

The new contestants appear to be looking for real connections, with 28-year-old Eden Harper openly expressing her skepticism: “I don't believe in love at first sight,” she says.

This season seems to have a particular focus on the 30 and older age group, suggesting a more mature and perhaps more nuanced search for love.

There will be more heartbreaking romance and riveting drama with twists, turns and shocks – even beyond Final Vows – as well as rivalries, betrayals and heartbreak that will divide friendships and shake the experiment from start to finish.

Although bosses claim the series will be less “screaming and screaming”, Chron Australia can reveal that season 11 was the most chaotic series ever filmed.

The upcoming season will be rocked by a cheating scandal, several cast members will be eliminated and another “revenge porn” incident will occur.

A number of cast members abruptly dropped out of the show and producers were left scrambling to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Simon Flocco, an Adelaide-based restaurant manager, almost “ruined” the show's plans to focus on a same-sex couple after pulling out days before his wedding.

Casting producers were able to find a last-minute replacement and brought the couple in as interlopers.
