Married groom Al Perkins has quit his job as a carpenter to capitalize on his newfound fame.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the 25-year-old revealed he’s no longer working as a chippie after appearing on the Channel Nine experiment.
“I was so busy after the show ended. With all the new opportunities that have come up, it has become a balancing act,” he explained.

“I worked three days a week, then worked two days and sometimes just one day because I was having so much fun,” he added.
The Bondi-based star, who has a whopping 268,000 Instagram followers, can expect to top $1,889 a post with sponsored posts.
He was previously spotted on Hello Fresh with his co-stars Brent Vitiello and Selina Chhaur.

Al and Brent are both understood to have tendered their resignations ahead of their two-week trip to the United States.
When asked what’s on the agenda, Brent told Daily Mail Australia: “We’ve got a wedding in Vegas, a long history, some trips to Disneyland, some Hollywood sign action.”
He then joked that he would have to bail Al out of prison.

The couple were pictured arriving at Sydney International Airport last week, before being told they had to go to the domestic terminal to board their flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles.
Al and Brent, 34, were then seen frantically running through the terminal with their suitcases before quickly stopping to take a picture with a fan.
At one point, the two asked for help with their travel documents before realizing they had both forgotten to apply for an international Covid certificate.
The digital certificate is a requirement for all countries that require travelers to be fully vaccinated.
