What can Martha not do?
Martha Stewart revealed a sizzling surprise “Today’s show This morning she unveiled her cover for the 2023 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
The 81-year-old lifestyle guru — the oldest model the magazine has ever had — beams for the camera as she wears a plunging one-piece suit from Monday Swimwear ($192) and a billowing orange cover-up from Torso Creations on the cover carries shot.
Stewart wears her hair loosely up for the picture and wears bright makeup, including orange lipstick, to match her cape-like ensemble.
Stewart seemed smitten with the photo when she first saw it live on the TV.Today show
“I like this picture,” Stewart laughs in the Today clip, admitting she was “kind of shaking.”
Of her experience, she says it was “weird” being photographed in swimwear “in front of all these people,” but it “went out quite well.”
The cookbook author was photographed for the Ruven Afanador shoot in the Dominican Republic and wore ten elegant swimsuits in the pictures, including a cheeky red one-piece and a shimmering bronze look.

As for her groundbreaking photos, Stewart doesn’t seem to have a problem with that.
“When I heard I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person to ever be on a Sports Illustrated cover,'” she says she tells the magazine, adding, “And I don’t think about age much, but I thought that was kind of historical.”
The celebrity chef continues: “Age is not the determining factor for friendship or success, but what people do, how people think, how people act, that’s important and not your age.”
Perhaps it should come as no surprise that Stewart is one of this year’s cover stars; After all, she’s a long-time fan of sensual selfies and has even launched a clothing line featuring some of her more iconic snaps.
