On Thursday morning, TVA released two hilarious excerpts to give a taste of what the public can expect on September 28th.
In the first excerpt, Martin Matte delivers a monologue about current events, particularly by recalling the sad news of the death of Bob Barkerthe symbolic host of The price is correctwhich took place on August 26th.
Matte takes the opportunity to remind his audience that the French-language version of this famous American show was hosted by the comedian Philippe Bondwho withdrew from public life in July 2022 after numerous allegations of sexual misconduct.
“Who would have thought that Philippe Bond would disappear before Bob Barker?” he said with a grin, referring to Barker’s age at the time of his death, which was 99.

In the second excerpt we discover a strange part of the show that promises to provide a lot of discussion: the teleprompter.
The concept is simple: Martin Matte’s guest must read the answers displayed on the teleprompter, but of course these answers have been carefully prepared by the show’s editorial team. They are intended to make the guest uncomfortable while reading and make the audience laugh.
This is the case in the following excerpt Arnaud Soly who took part in the game, and he had a hard time finishing reading because the discomfort was both hilarious and unsettling, like he was in a real swamp.
