It was a big premiere night on TVA this Thursday as Martin Matte took over as host of his new talk show. Martin Matte live.
After a succinct opening monologue in which he remained true to himself with exaggerated boasting, Martin Matte welcomed his first guest.

And to everyone’s surprise, it was none other than Éric Salvail who had the honor of being the first guest of the new show.
Audience members and viewers held their breath in anticipation of the awkward interview they would witness when Salvail walked onto the set.

Rogation’s performer in Taxi 0-22 did not disappoint and was almost as funny as Matte, especially after receiving his Organigraine.

Katherine Levac followed her with a column on Quality Time, which she ended by mentioning that she had masturbated in a Toronto hotel room for an entire weekend during TIFF.
It was the first in the first at the time, which means that in every live presentation by Martin Matte we find an episode of The Last Link, a miniseries “of suspense, of romance, of political tragedy”.
