Derived from What if…? returns to the undead version of the MCU!
announced in 2021, miracle zombies Finally, more details were revealed during the San Diego Comic Con 2022. The new animation of Marvel Studiosderived from What If…?, won a new preview during the house’s animated productions panel.
The program was originally announced in November 2021, during the Disney+ tag. It was revealed during SDCC that the storyline was returning to the parallel version of Marvel Cinematic Universe featured in What If…?, and will follow the rise of a new generation of heroes battling the rampant advance of the zombie virus. The project is also inspired by the comics of the same name, signed by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead).
The series will feature characters such as Kamala Khan, Shang Chi, Kate Bishop, Elena Belova, Jimmy Woo, among many others. There is also a mystery surrounding the return of Icaris to earth, with something that is not right with the eternal.
The indicative rating is for adults, and the production has already promised there will be graphic violence and gore in the animated program.
Directs Marvel Zombies Bryan Andrews, artist with experience in the Marvel art department for Avengers: Endgame (2019), and with animations like Samurai Jack and Primal. The premiere is planned for 2024.
