It is the famous Orange Cone, the emblem par excellence of the city led by Valérie Plante, which was exposed on Sunday evening during the duels on the show Masked singers.

Investigators Sam Breton and Stéphane Rousseau were lucky when they suspected that the comedian Mathieu Dufour – Matt Duff for short – was hidden in the orange suit with numerous graffiti.
The Orange Cone, who did not win his duel against the Ballerina, had to say goodbye to the big TVA variety show at the end of the public vote in which he faced off against the Chameleon and the Dinosaur. The Orange Cone previously revisited Corbeau’s hit “Illegal,” and the ballerina covered Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own.”
Matt Duff, who thoroughly enjoyed his experience with Masked Singers, has played mascot in the past, a role that has helped him carry the Orange Cone with the enthusiasm and energy we know from him.
The other two duels in the October 15 episode featured the Chameleon and the Lion as well as the Dinosaur and the Astronaut.
So far in this third season, alongside Matt Duff, the masked Fabienne Larouche (Hippocampe), Sister Angèle (Popcorn), Dave Morissette (Dragon) and Édith Buther (Huard) have been unmasked.
Next Sunday, Masked Singers will feature five masked people, and Productions Déferlantes, which is producing the show with the help of Quebecor Content, promises that investigators will be in for a surprise.
Masked Singers, the fall’s most popular show on the small screen in Quebec, is shown every Sunday at 6:30 p.m. on TVA, just before the fifth season of Révolution.
