NBC has exclusively published maps and documents found among the bodies of Hamas militants following the attack on Kibbutz Kfar Aza that decimated an entire community. These are the very detailed attack plans in the hands of the combat units that raided the kibbutz. The instructions in Arabic are printed on A4 sheets, with colored maps indicating specific areas: dentist’s office, supermarket, dining room, perfectly located. But not only. The targets of the two highly qualified units include a primary school and a youth center with the task of “searching” and “taking hostages”. On a classified page outlining the attack plan, we read that “Combat Unit 1” must “contain the new school of Da’at” while “Combat Unit 2” must “collect and search” the hostages the Bnei Akiva Youth Center and the Old Da’at School. According to NBC, it would be evidence that terrorists targeted teenagers and children in the kibbutz with the aim of quickly transporting them to the Gaza Strip. In recent days, military sources told reporters they had seen dozens of bodies of killed children at Kibbutz Kfar Aza. On another page outlining the attack plan, one attack unit must protect the eastern area while the other must attack the western, “taking hostages” and “killing as many people as possible.” According to army and security officials analyzing these documents, the images captured on video surveillance show similar tactics to the plans found on the militants’ bodies. Hamas would have monitored the kibbutzim on the Gaza border and collected detailed information about them and drawn up specific attack plans for each of the communities, with the aim of targeting women and children.
