Massimo D’Alema has revamped his consulting firm DL&M Advisor, which he opened after retiring from political life and which caused him some legal troubles by brokering a sale of Fincantieri and Leonardo to the Colombian government. The company continues to offer consulting services, but Article 3 of the Articles of Association has been amended to also allow for the acquisition of shareholdings and entry into the real estate business.
The 2022 financial statements of D’Alema’s DL&M consultant closed with a profit of 393,807, down from the 581,697 euros of the previous year. Sales also fell from just over one million euros to 820,881 euros, of which 24 euros were generated in Switzerland. The real estate business has not started yet, however, there was the first acquisition with the new mission of a holding company. But everything took place at home.
In fact, the DL&M consultant has become a minority shareholder in agribusiness La Madeleine SS, which produces D’Alema wines. In fact, for 740,000 euros, 30% of the capital was acquired by the investment fund Amana Investment Glass Fund SCSp, which entered the start-up phase of the agricultural enterprise. Now all the capital is in the family as the other shareholders are his wife Linda Giuva and their children Giulia and Francesco D’Alema. However, Mrs. Linda is no longer at the helm of the wines, she has resigned and has entrusted the position of managing partner to her daughter Giulia, born in 1986.
