“Master Chef Italy” chose its twelfth winner: Edward Franco. The candidate convinced the three judges Antonino Cannavacciuolo, Bruno Barbieri and Giorgio Locatelli with its “Tutto mondo” menu inspired by Keith Haring’s murals and based on the flavors of the many journeys that have shaped his life, from Varese to Scandinavia and Germany. In the final he beat Thi Hue Dihn And Antonio “Bubu” Gargiulo.

The winner Edoardo Franco, 26 years old, from Varese, had joined MasterChef unemployed. From the first episodes of this season, Edoardo comes across as exuberant and expansive, brilliant and never banal, hiding in the kitchen a sweet and passionate character, his true passion and respect for his family. Describing their menu, titled “All the world”, inspired by the title of Keith Haring’s mural, the winner stated, “For me, food must unite, not divide, a menu of flavors for people from all over the world. My dishes are the result of my past experiences and encounters mixed with my creativity.”
