Oliver, 45 years old and a thousand lives to tell. Born in Fiume (Croatia) to a Croatian-Jewish father and a French mother, he lived in the city until he was 18, where he had many experiences, including tragic ones, such as the war in the Balkans.
He then moved to Milan, where he began his career in the worlds of art and fashion: in his CV you can find prestigious brands, but in order to develop professionally, he moved to Paris, where he stayed until 2014. Among other things, he lived there, there is also Israel, where he wanted to get to know his father’s roots: “It’s the blood that brought me there. I wanted to experience Jewish culture and learn the language.” In 2013 he met his partner Domenico from Puglia: they currently live together in Parma. Today he has an art gallery and a shop in Croatia.
«I’ve always cooked and mine is simple French cuisine. My teachers are Grandmother, Mother and Paul Bocuse,” she says. Not only his personal culture but also his cuisine is a mixture of France, Croatia and Italy. He takes part in MasterChef Italia because he wants to test his skills: “I’m curious, I never stand still and I love to challenge myself – he says –.
