Nicholas Longanesi
20 years old, student of gastronomy sciences
He was born in Bagnacavallo (Ravenna) and now lives in Parma
At MasterChef Italia, Nicola is literally looking for redemption: he has always been passionate about cooking since he was 12 years old
competed in the second edition of Junior MasterChef, where he was eliminated in the semifinals when he attempted to replicate a Chef Barbieri dish. After leaving, he never stopped cooking, now he wants to prove to himself that he can do it
to reach the coveted final, but not only: MasterChef Italia also represents for him a new stimulus that he believes possible
need at this point in his life.
His parents, older sister and uncle are very supportive and supportive in his passion for cooking.
Born and raised in the province of Ravenna, he now lives in Parma studying gastronomy. He has a girlfriend but he sees her
little because he lives in London to study.
In the kitchen he has experimented with different techniques such as airing and gelling. He describes himself as very traditional, which he likes
study in order to be able to reinvent it. He dreams of working in gastronomy in journalism or in research.
Oliver Stammberger
45 years old, luxury goods manager
Croatian/French origin, now living in Parma
Oliver, 45 years old and a thousand lives to tell. Born in Fiume (Croatia) to a Croatian-Jewish father and a French mother, he lived in the city until he was 18, where he had many experiences, including tragic ones, such as the war in the Balkans.
He then moved to Milan, where he began his career in the worlds of art and fashion: in his CV you can find prestigious brands, but in order to develop professionally, he moved to Paris, where he stayed until 2014. Among other things, he lived there, there is also Israel, where he wanted to get to know his father’s roots: “It’s the blood that brought me there. I wanted to experience Jewish culture and learn the language.” In 2013 he met his partner Domenico from Puglia: they currently live together in Parma. Today he has an art gallery and a shop in Croatia.
«I’ve always cooked and mine is simple French cuisine. My teachers are Grandmother, Mother and Paul Bocuse,” she says. Not only his personal culture but also his cuisine is a mixture of France, Croatia and Italy. He takes part in MasterChef Italia because he wants to test his skills: “I’m curious, I never stand still and I love to challenge myself – he says –. I believe that this opportunity can enrich me and why not lead me to open a club with Domenico».
