MasterChef’s Melissa Leong flees to Bali after claims of strained relations between judge and staff

It was recently reported that she “fell out” with staff on the set of MasterChef Australia.

But Melissa Leong seems to be putting her worries behind and making the most of her summer break.

The 40-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday to share photos from her luxury retreat while vacationing in Bali.

“If anyone needs me, let them. I’ll be here though,” she captioned a photo of her laying on a sun lounger.

She then shared a second photo of herself in a bathing suit and wrote, “I’ve never seen myself in a white bathing suit in my life but I love her.”

She continued, “Realize that there is power to cut off your energy from people who don’t deserve it. They’re always watching though, so give them a goddamn good show.

“And if all else fails, wear an evil eye or two… Karma will even the scales without your help, and some people are just idiots.”

According to The Daily Telegraph, the fan-favorite food critic is now “doing her own hair and makeup” due to tensions with Endemol Shine’s beauty crew.

Sources told the newspaper that the production staff and Leong “don’t want to work together anymore,” but Ten hasn’t addressed the issues for fear of upsetting them.

Insiders at Ten say the situation worsened after a freelancer was hired to do Leong’s hair before he was later asked not to work with her.

The trio had plenty to celebrate during the ceremony, as MasterChef was presented with the trophy for Best Reality Program.
