Alexander Soros officially takes over the kingdom from his father George.
And along with more money than gods, Alex inherits an empire of influence that rivals governments and stretches across national borders.
For the nonprofit philanthropy Open Society Foundation (OSF), founded by the now 92-year-old financial pro and funded by a $25 billion war chest, is far more than a simple charity.
As I documented in my book The Man Behind the Curtain: Inside the Secret Network of George Soros, OSF is portrayed as one of the most powerful progressive forces in the world, active in over 120 countries.
The OSF has spent nearly $20 billion since its inception and has an annual budget of $1.5 billion, mostly funded by the fortune Soros has amassed as a hedge fund manager.
One of the most intriguing glimpses into Soros’ influence abroad came in a 2017 leaked document by the OSF’s Open Society Policy Institute entitled “Reliable Allies in the European Parliament.”
The document introduced all members of the European Parliament who were seen as allies of the Soros empire – it included 11 committees and 26 delegations.
At the time, 226 out of 705 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) were identified as “proven or probable” Soros allies.
At least this suggests a highly developed political international lobby organization. If the pro-Soros MPs were their own party, they would have been the largest in the EU legislature.
The Soros family also has significant influence over the American media. Analysis by the Media Research Center found that numerous media outlets employ journalists who also sit on the boards of organizations that receive large sums of money from Soros.

These companies include ABC, NPR, The New York Times, CNN, CBS, PBS, and countless smaller networks like Sacramento Bee, Seattle Times, LA Times, and the Baltimore Sun.
The media has long concealed George Soros from criticism, portraying him as conspiratorial. But as Silicon Valley entrepreneur David Sacks recently tweeted, Soros has been very clear on his intention to shape America in his vision by committing millions to the democratic process. And that is definitely worth a closer look.
“Soros wanted to have an outsized influence on public policy…” Sacks wrote. “In any other context, the influence of money in politics would be a legitimate topic of conversation.” Indeed, in a democracy, it is most appropriate to recognize when a particular interest has subverted the public interest.”
Elon Musk responded to the thread, noting, “Soros has astutely identified a tremendous arbitrage opportunity in district attorney elections, where a relatively small amount of money has an outsized impact.”
In fact, that seems to be true.
A 2016 Politico article reported that Soros poured more than $3 million into local district attorney campaigns in six states in a single year. In one instance, Soros donated $930,000 to a single candidate — reportedly more than 22 times the local median household income.
Without a doubt, OSF saw an opportunity to get the best bang for the buck. In fact, the OSF’s funding of far-left, progressive prosecutors has done more to make Soros a household name than anything else in his decades of political meddling.
To date, OSF has invested at least $40 million to elect nearly eighty far-left local prosecutors nationwide, according to the nonprofit Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund.
Look at the story of a violent criminal being released without bail or a murderer getting a slap on the wrist, it’s often the case that a Soros-linked prosecutor is behind the injustice.
Soros reportedly spent over $2.5 million in support of George Gascón, who took office as Los Angeles Attorney in December 2020.
Gascon summed up the views of so many Soros-funded prosecutors by stating that he would not treat juvenile delinquents like adults and would not prosecute “poverty-related” crimes.
That could be true of almost anything—and it was.
In August 2021, 16-year-old Kristopher Baca pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and hit-and-run after he drove a stolen car into a mother who was pushing her 8-month-old child in a stroller.
The collision, caught on camera, shows the vehicle heading toward the couple as Baca speeds down a narrow Los Angeles alley.

The victim told the court that it appeared he tried to murder her. “When the car came dangerously close to us, [Baca] “Turned the wheels in our direction and accelerated as he aimed to kill us,” she said.
Mother and child flew over the hood. Baca sped away and crashed into a truck, blocking him.
He was arrested for drunk driving. Miraculously, the victims survived with only minor injuries.
But for a crime that could certainly have resulted in the deaths of two innocent people, Gascon’s office recommended a sentence of five to seven months in a juvenile detention center prosecutors described as “less than military school and a little harsher than summer camp.” was described.’
At Philadelphia Attorney Larry Krasner’s 2017 victory celebration, shouts of “no good cops in a racist system” and “fuck the cops” can be heard, giving a glimpse of the ideological leanings of his supporters.
Campaign reports showed that Soros spent nearly $1.7 million in this race — nearly 30% of all elementary school spending.
In the two years after he took office, Krasner dropped the charges in over 60% of shooting counts and 37% of illegal firearm counts. In 2020, Krasner’s Philadelphia had the fewest criminal prosecutions in thirty years – just as a nationwide crime wave was beginning.
Even as Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw complained in 2022 that her officers were “tired of arresting the same suspects over and over again, only to see them right back on the street continuing their criminal activities and… sometimes escalated,” Krasner’s office popped up to compound the problem.
In January, 21-year-old Yaaseen Bivins was charged in connection with a fatal shooting before a high school football game that killed a 14-year-old and injured four others. Philadelphians were shocked to learn that Bivins could have been behind bars instead.
He was found guilty just eight weeks earlier of hitting a pregnant woman with his car during a drag race, killing her unborn child. However, Krasner’s prosecutors decided against revoking his bail, allowing him to be released while he awaited sentencing.

In the wake of the George Floyd riots and amid criticism of this liberal law enforcement policy, Soros made a conspicuously public statement, penning an opinion piece for The Wall Street Journal in June 2022.
“I have supported the election (and more recently the re-election) of pro-reform prosecutors.” I’ve made it transparent and have no intention of stopping… Judging by the results, the public likes what they’re hearing “, he wrote.
However, the public did not seem to like what happened.
In hyperliberal San Francisco, District Attorney Chesa Boudin was recalled as residents balked at sweeping reforms that kept thugs out of prison, reduced sentences for a litany of property crimes, and seemingly ignored fentanyl dealers whose drugs were fueling a homelessness crisis being ravaged by mental illness and addiction was fueled .
In fact, the highly addictive and deadly opioid has killed more people in San Francisco than COVID, yet Boudin’s office reportedly didn’t convict a single drug dealer in all of 2021.
Contrary to the transparency claims in his editorial, Soros tried to save face by denying he even funded Boudin. And while Soros did not endorse Boudin directly, his money did flow to the progressive DA through a network of liberal groups.
The Fair and Just Prosecution group, which Boudin sponsored, is funded by the Tides Center, Free Beacon reports. Soros’ Open Society Foundation reportedly donated $30 million between 2016 and 2020.
That brings us to today.
Almost nobody believed that George Soros would relinquish control of his empire before he died. But it has gone to his 37-year-old son, even if the Soros heir doesn’t seem like someone born to lead.

Watch an interview with him on YouTube and you’ll see a man who has trouble making eye contact or even speaking with confidence, hunches over and often has trouble completing sentences.
Despite this, he has maintained something of a playboy lifestyle in the past, as the Chron reported back in 2016 about his antics, some of which were posted to Facebook, including meeting NBA players and models during his $72 million summer vacation in hamptons
Obviously, the power of money should never be underestimated. Perhaps the clues to OSF’s future were hidden away.
Scrolling through Alex’s Instagram reveals countless meetings with executives, including Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and most recently Vice President Kamala Harris, who has strove to keep any mention of the meeting off her public diary.
His public persona contrasts with that of his rather secretive father. And it’s obvious that he doesn’t want to live his life in the shadows.
In a new interview with the Wall Street Journal, he tried to portray a more moderate side of himself, saying he wanted the Democratic Party to embrace patriotism and that “just because someone votes for Trump doesn’t mean they’re lost or racist.” is.”

Alex specifically made no mention of “law and justice issues” or the awake district attorneys that OSF supports.
You have to keep in mind that Alex seems smart enough to understand the importance of optics.
One reason to doubt his sincerity is the hilarious comment that he wants to lessen the influence of wealth. “As much as I’d like to get money out of politics, as long as the other side is doing it, so must we,” he claimed.
Of course, his father was the biggest political financier in the 2022 midterms cycle — if anything, right-wing financiers are catching up, not the other way around.
With Alex taking over as boss, the OSF is guaranteed to remain at least ideologically consistent – if not drift even further to the left.
Alex has already hinted that the latter option is more likely, telling the Wall Street Journal that he is “more political” than his father. Whether Alex will embrace his father’s support for woke prosecutors remains to be seen.
It will be interesting to see how the mainstream media adjusts to reporting on the influence of the Soros family as the man who is now at the helm flaunts his wealth on Facebook.
They’re really going to have to make a choice between trusting them or trusting our own eyes.
We shouldn’t be surprised if they try.
