Just weeks after celebrating his book Greenlights spending 100 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, Matthew McConaughey celebrated another literary milestone.
The 53-year-old Texas native released his book Greenlights in October 2020, which reached the top spot on the charts, a feat he has now achieved twice, with his children’s book Just Because taking the top spot over the weekend.
The actor and author celebrated the milestone with his sons Levi, 15, Livingston, 10, and wife Camila Alves, who threw him a surprise party.
McConaughey shared a video on Instagram Friday of the surprise party for his book, which was released Sept. 12.
Levi was heard saying “Congratulations!” while Livingston added, “I love you,” as the actor clapped along, wearing a lavender sweatshirt and tan sweatpants.
