And he does so with an autobiography that details the devastation alcohol and opioid addiction has wreaked on his life. However, before sobriety is achieved, He went through hell and hit rock bottom with an addiction that brought him to the brink of death.

His time in the film was in a scene with Jonah Hill on the stage of a political congress. However, in the final footage, the actor did not appear at all.

In his memoir, the performer admits that it would be “the greatest film he ever made.” According to Rolling Stone magazine, Perry was set to play a Republican journalist and even share scenes with the honoree Meryl Streep.
However, it ended in rehabilitation center in Switzerland and lied to her doctors about severe abdominal pain so they could prescribe a strong painkiller. “I felt good,” he admitted. Perry managed to get out alive but with eight broken ribs during the resuscitation process.. But he was subsequently too sore to continue making the film, prompting the decision to leave the project “heartbreaking”.

Reeves is one of the most popular movie stars of the public and his peers. However, Perry unexpectedly revealed her dislike for the actor in her book, Page Six.
In an excerpt from his book, the actor wrote: “Why do River Phoenix and Heath Ledger die but Keanu Reeves still walks among us?
Perry directed one of her first films with River Phoenix, who died of an overdose outside the Viper Room nightclub in 1993 at the age of 23. “He was a beautiful man inside and out. Too good for this world it seems. It always seems that the most talented are the ones who fall,” he wrote of his death.
Perry shares how she cried when she found out about his death: “I heard the screams coming from my apartment. I went back to bed and woke up to the news.”

In another attack on his colleague, Perry returns to talk about the existence of Reeves. He repeats it for another tragedy: the death of comedian Chris Farley. While battling addiction at the height of her fame, Perry directed Almost Heroes, a comedy starring Farley. When she found out about his death, also from an overdose, her reaction was to think of Reeves.
