“I owe my life to this man. It was 1984 when – the 61-year-old recalls – I was in the audience at the Maurizio Costanzo Show and stood up in full broadcast. I told him my story. i needed one Brain surgery for a tumor but I didn’t have the money and he listened to me”.

At the end of the program, Costanzo “put me in contact with a surgeon who made himself available, he was also in the audience that evening, like me. He operated on me a few weeks later in San Filippo Neri. I’ve driven up and down from Naples. Costanzo paid for the hotel and gave me 500,000 lire“. That evening, however, Costanzo himself asked the man not to announce his help.

The operation went well and since then – Buoninconti recalls – he has had no health problems.
