Maya Hawke revealed on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live that she was in trouble with her father Ethan Hawke for lying to him as a teenager.
The 24-year-old actress spoke candidly while playing an intergenerational question-and-answer game with fellow guest Bryan Cranston, 67, on the Bravo talk show.
“What was the worst trouble you got into as a teenager?” talk show host Andy Cohen, 55, asked her during the High School Me! event. Segment.
“Oh I lied when I said I was going to therapy and I really wanted to lose my virginity,” said Maya, who wore a sleeveless pink champagne dress and long, transparent gloves.
Andy was ecstatic about the revelation, and Bryan said dramatically, “Me too.”

Andy noted that Ethan, 52, only knew that she hadn’t had therapy and not that she wanted to lose her virginity.
“No, and he really made my life difficult,” Maya said.
“He asked, ‘Where have you been?’ ‘Where have you gone?’ Maya said, impersonating him in a gruff voice.
“And I said, ‘How am I supposed to keep secrets if I can’t lie?'” Maya recalled.
Andy and Bryan were both impressed with their comeback.

Andy said that knowing Ethan, he probably respected it.
Maya said her father did it and joked that he was “foiled again.”
A few virtual fans later asked Maya what Quentin Tarantino would need to push Kill Bill Volume 3, starring her mother Uma Thurman, 53, and herself.
“I think he really loves talking about the idea of doing a Volume 3. So I think it would actually be necessary if everyone doesn’t talk about it long enough for him to get upset that no one is asking him about it anymore, and then.” “He’ll be like I’m going to show them now that they want it,” Maya said.
Bryan agreed that reverse psychology was a viable option.

“I regret ever loving you,” Bryan concluded, while Andy yelled, “Give that man an Emmy!”
Maya and Bryan were on the Bravo talk show to promote their upcoming movie Asteroid City directed by Wes Anderson.
Asteroid City had a limited release last week and will expand to a wide release with distribution through Focus Features on Friday.
