Maya Jama has announced that she has landed a new job hosting the first-ever spin-off series Love Island.

The 29-year-old TV presenter will travel to Fiji to present Love Island Games in collaboration with streaming site Peacock.

In the series, she will reunite with Iain Stirling, known for his narration in both the UK and US editions of the series.

Maya announced the exciting news in a video on Instagram, saying, “It’s going to be great!”

The Love Island Games will see former islanders from the UK, US and Australian series come together for a second chance at love and compete to be crowned champion.

In the international series, the stars will “face both team and couples challenges as they grapple with dating, eliminations, reunions and dramatic newcomers.”

The show is scheduled to premiere on November 1 and stream new episodes six days a week on Peacock.

Maya took on the role of Love Island host for season 9, taking over as helm from Laura Whitmore.

She has been praised by fans for her presentation style and sensational looks in the summer and winter series.

Maya had previously denied claims ITV told her to change her personality for her role.

During a question-and-answer session on Instagram, a fan asked if ITV had asked the star to “tame”. [her] Energy and Personality” to showcase the show.

Maya replied, “No, not at all.” “Of course there’s a certain tone in the show for dramatic passages, so I can’t come in to yell cling cling and crack jokes, but on Aftersun, I’m in the truest sense of the word so myself like I’ve never been on TV and it’s live so that’s my playground.”
