MC Daniel had to leave a show he did last Friday (23rd) in São Bernardo do Campo in the greater São Paulo area. The singer left the stage he was performing on at the Se Envolv Festival after claiming he had received death threats from the contractor.

Then the audience starts to sing the call of “Falcão”, as the funk singer is called. Although he tries to continue the show, he interrupts the performance.
He leaves the stage saying his life is in danger. “Family, I’m not leaving because I want to, I’m leaving because my life is in danger, has it been a long time?” He says someone is threatening to shoot him and his bodyguard. “I don’t know what’s going on, we’re not staying here.”

The festival organization speaks out. Falcão do Funk’s presentation took place at Crazy Bar, a venue in São Bernardo do Campo. In a note posted to Instagram, the Se Evolve Festival organizers clarified, claiming that the threats came from the home’s owner and not the musician’s contractors.
“We rented the ‘Crazy Bar’ house for our festival, yesterday was the birthday of the owner of the ‘Crazy Bar’ house where he asked us to stay in the box next to the stage and ended up taking this attitude, that everyone saw in videos. We at Se Envolve Festival are the actual contractors and we even gave artist MC Daniel a reason to leave the stage as we moved on to producer Jackson.”
