MC Marcinho undergoes surgery

MC Marcinho, one of the voices of Funk, has been hospitalized since July 10 after suffering a cardiac arrest at the Copa d’Or Hospital in Copacabana, south of Rio de Janeiro. The artist is currently 45 years old and in March he had to undergo heart surgery, during which his pacemaker was changed.
MC Marcinho, popular with the general public as the composer of Glamurosa, was in the crowd to have his surgery soon, but suffered cardiac arrest.
In a statement posted to the artist’s Instagram account, the consultant indicated that he was stable. “We will provide you with more accurate information based on the official medical bulletin as soon as possible. Now is the moment of prayer for your full recovery.”
Valesca Popozuda, Lexa and MC Nandinho were among those supporting MC Marcinho. This Thursday (13) the artist’s health has been updated. A new statement, this time from the consultant at Copa D’or Hospital, said the MC had undergone another operation and had an artificial heart put in.
According to the medical bulletin, the surgery was performed successfully and the patient is stable and recovering.
Singer Buchecha sent some clasped hands emojis as prayer signs. MC Guimê sent a heart in addition to the prayer emoji. “Amen,” Lexa said in the post on the MC Marcinho profile on Instagram.
