Connor McDavid once again had many observers wide-eyed on Thursday in the Edmonton Oilers' 3-2 overtime win over the Red Wings in Detroit.
With the local favorites leading 1-0, the Oilers captain recovered the puck at the Red Wings' blue line before mocking Jake Walman and deceiving Alex Lyon's guard with a feint the secret of which only he knows .

Zach Hyman then let his team take a 2-1 lead, but a goal from Olli Maata forced extra time. 1:20 minutes before the end of extra time, full-back Darnell Nurse finally gave the visitors victory.
This win is the Oilers' ninth in a row, having not suffered a loss since December 19th. Kris Knoblauch's men are in fourth place in the Pacific Division with a record of 22-15-1.
The Alberta team will face the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday evening at the Bell Centre.

A hat trick for Kyrou in the Blues' win
The St. Louis Blues won a prestigious victory against the strong New York Rangers with a score of 5 to 2.
Jordan Kyrou and Jordan Binnington have been at the center of their team's success. The first city scored a hat trick while the second city made 40 saves. Brandon Saad and Pavel Buchnevich also brought the local favorites to the red light.
Adam Fox had previously scored the first goal for the Rangers in the first period. Vincent Trocheck also responded by scoring on the power play in the final period.
Two Crosby goals are not enough for the Penguins
The Vancouver Canucks won 4-3 in overtime against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Elias Pettersson had another successful night, scoring two goals, including the one that gave his team victory, as well as two assists. His teammate Brock Boeser scored two goals.
It must be said that the Penguins fell behind 3-1 after 20 minutes of play. Sidney Crosby forced overtime thanks to his second win of the game with 29 seconds left in the third period.
The Canucks (28-11-3) are in first place in the Pacific Division. The Penguins (20-15-5) are two points behind the Tampa Bay Lightning (21-17-5), who are ranked second among teams drafted in the Eastern Association. Jon Cooper's team won 4-3 against the New Jersey Devils (21-15-3) on Thursday night.
