McDonald's fans are rejoicing after the fast food chain announced it is bringing back a popular seasonal item starting today.
Before the month of love comes to an end, McDonald's is already celebrating St. Patrick's Day by announcing the comeback of the mint-flavored green Shamrock Shake.
The chain announced that the drink will be available starting today, February 5, while supplies last.
The launch of the green shake comes earlier than usual this year as McDonald's launched the drink at the end of February last year.

Even before the month of love comes to an end, McDonald's is already celebrating St. Patrick's Day by announcing the comeback of the Shamrock Shake
According to the chain's website, the sweet treat is made with vanilla soft serve, mint syrup and topped with whipped cream.
The chain will also bring back its Oreo Shamrock Shake, which launched in 2020 and is mixed with crushed Oreos.
The shake costs around $3 to $4 depending on size and location.
The fan-favorite drink will only be available for a limited time.
According to the McDonald's website, you can “make your friends green with envy and grab one of these famous mint treats while supplies last.”
In recent years, fans have loved the green shake and lined up outside the restaurant to get their hands on the iconic drink.
The green drink has been on the McDonald's menu every March for more than 50 years.
And while fans love the sweet treat that's a St. Patrick's Day-themed staple, experts have previously revealed that the whipped cream on top contains enough calories to wipe out a day's workout.

A large Shamrock Shake has 800 calories. Experts estimate that a person weighing 150 pounds burns 40 calories per 1,000 steps.
That means the average person needs to walk 20,000 steps – enough to cover ten miles – to offset the caloric effects of the drink.
Calories aren't the only concern.
The 84 grams of added sugar in a large shake is also well above the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) recommended daily maximum of 50g.
There is also 13g of saturated fat, 64 percent of the maximum, and 260 mg of sodium – 11 percent of the maximum.
