McDonald’s customers will soon have a few more dipping sauce options.

This will happen for a limited time once participating U.S. McDonald’s restaurants begin offering two new dipping sauces called Sweet & Spicy Jam Sauce and Mambo Sauces as options for customers next month. The announcement for both came on Tuesday.

Tariq Hassan, chief marketing and customer experience officer for McDonald’s USA, said the company “finds inspiration for the food our fans love by exploring the incredible tastes and flavors found in communities across the country.” For the latter sauce, she was inspired by the well-known sauce from the District of Columbia and Chicago.

Both will become dip options nationwide starting October 9, according to McDonald’s, and will remain so “while supplies last.” The fast-food chain said its U.S. footprint includes about 13,500 stores.

McDonald’s encouraged consumers to try them out with different menu items.

The fast food chain calls itself Sweet & Spicy Jam and offers a “jammy red pepper sauce” that also contains apple cider vinegar, Sichuan pepper and cayenne pepper. The Mambo sauce, meanwhile, boasts “tomato-based, sweet, spicy and vinegary” flavors, it said.

McDonald’s has taken further action this year related to its menu.

Last week, for example, Spicy Chicken McNuggets were once again on the menu at McDonald’s. A Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry followed at the beginning of August. Both items are being introduced for a limited time.

It also curbed the apple fritters, blueberry muffins and cinnamon rolls, a move FOX Business previously reported.

McDonald’s also announced Tuesday that it would release a documentary on its YouTube channel “telling the true stories of the sauce makers, restaurateurs, small business owners and fans who make mambo culture strong.”
