McDonald’s launches collaboration with Dragon Ball

O MC Donalds announced a new collaboration with Dragon Ball for the chain’s restaurants in Taiwan. The action continues until October 10th.

This is a new collection of cards inspired by Dragon Ball Z that will be offered as Happy Meal freebies.

The cards highlight popular characters from the anime, such as: Goku, Frieza, between others. Check out the promotional video below:

Dragon Ball was released in 1984 and was a creation of Akira Toriyamawhich was previously successful in Japan Dr. Slump (also published here by Panini).

A loose adaptation of the Chinese fairy tale “Journey to the West”, it initially tells the story of little Goku, a boy with extraordinary strength and a monkey’s tail who until then lived isolated from humanity. His life changes when he meets a young adventurer named Bulma, who is searching for one of the legendary Dragon Balls.

Together they go on a search for the seven existing spheres that can fulfill every wish.

The title was first published in Brazil in 2000 Conrad editorbe next to it Knights of the Zodiac the first manga in the country’s oriental reading sense.
