Macarena Plascencia and her passion for football

Sport has always been present for Macarena Plascencia, as she became a national gymnastics champion at the age of five. A year later, thanks to his older brother, he discovered a new passion for football. So he began training with Guillermo La Rosa, a former soccer player for the Peruvian soccer team.

Her arduous preparation caught the attention of minor league coaches Alianza Lima, who invited her to join the club in 2022. Although he started playing in the U14 team, he is currently part of the U12 team.

“I started my preparation at the Cueto La Rosa Academy and after a while I received a message on Instagram (from Club Alianza Lima) where they invited me to play (…) I joined the U14 team , because when I started there was no U12 category,” explained Macarena Plascencia.

“I’m in my first year (of high school) and I have training sessions at Club Alianza Lima on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I’m done and going straight to my house so I can “study,” he said.
