Patricia Poeta and Cris Vianna
This Thursday (12th), Cris Vianna attended the “Meeting with Patrícia Poeta” and received a comment from the moderator that was criticized by the network.
When she painted the painting “TBT no Encontro” with Cris Vianna and reminisced about her past, Patrícia revealed that the actress’ mother was in the audience. She then asked the artist if the person next to her was also related to the actress.

Cris seemed uncomfortable at the question and denied that it sounded familiar. The network repeated Patrícia’s gaffe and even accused her of racism because the person in the audience was black.
In contact with iG Gente via the press office, Patrícia Poeta denied the faux pas and explained that it was a mistake in the production of the program. “Patrícia didn’t budge at any point, as the production had informed her that the actress’ brotherinlaw would also be in the audience alongside her mother. Something she even mentioned on the air later,” says a statement.
Patrícia Poeta’s team also emphasized that the “meeting” takes the subject seriously. “Today’s program even took a serious approach to the subject, with Patrícia defending tougher penalties for this type of crime,” explains the artist’s guide.
