Mega typhoon claims first fatality

Typhoon Nanmadol caused significant damage in southwestern Japan. So far, there have been 60 injuries and one death.

Two million people were asked to evacuate their homes on Saturday: Typhoon Nanmadol was approaching the island of Kyushu and, according to authorities, the storm poses an “unprecedented” danger.
