Megan Fox is SOUNDED for violating SAG-AFTRA’s Halloween costume rules after dressing up as a Kill Bill character during the ongoing actors’ strike

Megan Fox’s violation of SAG-AFTRA’s Halloween costume rules – in which she dressed up as a Kill Bill character and posted it on social media and tagged the union in the post – was not well received.

Earlier this month, the union told its members that they should avoid dressing up as studio characters to promote their products in solidarity with the ongoing strike.

After Fox and his fiancé Machine Gun Kelly attended the Casamigos Halloween party in Los Angeles on Friday dressed as characters from the Quentin Tarantino series, several of Fox’s show business colleagues spoke out against the 37-year-old star’s appearance.

Fox dressed as a sexy version of schoolgirl assassin Gogo Yubari (played by Japanese actress Chiaki Kuriyama), while Machine Gun Kelly wore the yellow jumpsuit of Uma Thurman’s character The Bride and carried a katana sword.

In response to a tweet about the costume, Abbott Elementary actress Lisa Ann Walter, 60, wrote, “What a rebel. “Keep posing for stupid shit pretty lady.”

She continued: “Meanwhile, we will be working 10 hours a day – unpaid – to ensure basic contract recipients receive a fair wage.”

In the thread surrounding Fox’s post of the costume on Saturday, actress Paige McGarvin said she wished Fox hadn’t posted the pictures.

“I completely understand if you disagree with sag and want to express this privately/in your inner circle,” McGarvin said, “but using your massive platform to undermine the union and sow the seeds of division in an incredibly public way sowing only harms us.’Leverage with the Amptp.’

Batwoman star Ruby Rose, 37, pointed to a series of sordid scandals surrounding the Harvey Weinstein-produced film series from which Fox and her boyfriend drew their creative inspiration.

Rose said, “Kill Bill.” Harvey Weinstein. The near end of Uma Thurman and a decades-long car accident cover-up… The epitome of the power studios can have over actors?! Or .. ?’

One user said: “Yeah girl, give it to your union and try to get better wages and benefits for people less known than you!”

One user asked on social media, “Why is she opposing a group that is literally fighting for her to get a fair wage?”

Another user responded that Fox’s star status made her immune to the core issues of the walkout.

“Because she’s Megan Fox,” the user said. “She will still get a fair wage.” And she will pay the fine they imposed for this violation. The strike was aimed at smaller actors who are experiencing shortages. They don’t care about the strike or SAG because it doesn’t really affect them.’

The couple, who got engaged last year after less than a year of dating, appeared at the star-studded bash in the role of two of the film’s most popular characters: Uma Thurman’s The Bride (pictured left) and Gogo Yubari, played by the Japanese actress Chiaki Kuriyama (pictured right)

On Friday, the couple – who got engaged last year after less than a year of dating – appeared at the star-studded party as two of the film’s most popular characters.

For her look, Fox had blood dripping from her eyes and carried Yubari’s meteor hammer, which she uses while trying to kill the bride during the couple’s epic fight scene.

The annual Casamigos Halloween extravaganza is hosted by tequila brand founders Rande Gerber and George Clooney. Although Clooney and his wife Amal were absent from the event, Rande and his supermodel wife Cindy Crawford were in attendance.

Friday night marked a rare public sighting of MGK and Megan, as they were last photographed together on September 7 during a trip to New York City.

The LA-based couple met while working on the crime film Midnight In The Sawgrass, which will be released in theaters in 2021.

The actress was previously married to Brian Austin Green, with whom she has sons Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6.

The rapper also has a daughter named Casie, 14, with his former partner Emma Cannon.

The cast eventually split and the couple got engaged in January last year.

A source recently spoke to PEOPLE and confirmed that Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, who went through a rough patch last February, had managed to resolve many of their differences.

“They have done a lot of work to strengthen their relationship and are back together,” she said.

The insider added that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress “seems a lot happier” after getting closer to her fiancé.

The source went on to say that the couple remains “engaged” but has no wedding plans.
