Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are “on a hiatus” and have put their wedding planning on hold to work on their issues, according to a new report, just days after they were said to be in need of a “significant breakthrough.”
The 36-year-old actress and the 32-year-old pop-punk rapper (born Colson Baker) are said to be taking a sabbatical from their relationship but are still in touch, according to Us Weekly sources on Wednesday.
Insiders told the publication, “Megan and MGK are currently on hiatus but are still in touch. They are very hot and cold.”
has reached out to Fox and MGK officials and has yet to hear back.
When the power couple got engaged in January 2022, many have wondered what the current status of the wedding is.

A source claimed: “They held up the wedding planning to work on their issues.
“Their relationship is quite volatile at the moment. They are currently off but still texting each other.
A week ago it was reported that their relationship is still stuck on the rocks and may need a “significant breakthrough” to work.
The actress – who was recently spotted without her engagement ring at a party – and the rapper-turned-rocker have reportedly been trying to salvage their romance after recently sparking breakup rumors.
‘[Megan] isn’t sure about Colson and it’s complicated right now. They’re still working on their relationship because the love they had was the real thing,” a source told Us Weekly on Wednesday.
“It’s not something that just goes away overnight. However, you would need to have a significant breakthrough for things to work. It’s all in the air now.’
The dynamic couple, who got engaged in January 2022 after more than a year, reportedly had “a big argument” over February’s Super Bowl weekend.

“She was supposed to go to his appearance at the Sports Illustrated party but they had a fight and she canceled plans and flew away on Saturday night,” the source reveals.
Meanwhile, the couple’s friends appear to believe the relationship is “probably over,” but Megan and MGK aren’t ready to “end it just yet,” according to People.
“You’re not quite done yet. They’re still trying to sort things out, but most of their friends think it’s probably over. They’re just not ready to call it in full just yet,” the insider shared.
And last Sunday, Megan continued to fuel breakup rumors when she was spotted riding alone and without her engagement ring at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
For the lavish event, held at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills, the Jennifer’s Body star put on a busty show in a plunging black dress.
She looked stunning in a chandelier diamond necklace but was seen most strikingly without the double engagement ring, personally designed by her boyfriend.

Shortly before the Instagram post and the deactivation of their account altogether, both Megan and Kelly were spotted at a Super Bowl party together in Arizona.
Not long after her post, the Till Death star deactivated her Instagram page before quickly resurfacing to quash rumors of a breakup and insisting there had been no cheating in their relationship.
Another insider told People that the model “initially thought” there was cheating, “but is now backing off a bit.”
The source added that Fox, who celebrated the one-year anniversary of her engagement to the singer in January, “definitely hinted at infidelity in her first post. She regrets making it all so public, but was really upset at the moment.”
Megan also defended Kelly’s guitarist Sophie Lloyd, who was drawn into their relationship drama.
In a post the musician shared, the star wrote in the comments section, “How I made a joke to clear this girl of a hurtful allegation kind of became an endorsement of it — I’ll never understand. Why are people so… so stupid.”
“Sophie, you are incredibly talented,” she continued, before adding, “Welcome to Hollywood. Your first unjustified PR disaster. You have now been baptized by the flames of glory.’

Another insider revealed to the publication that Megan spotted both “DMs and text messages” on the rapper’s phone, leading her to “believe he was having an affair.”
The source further explained, “They are separated but Megan sees where they stand. She wants to see what they can salvage,” while adding that Kelly “really wants to reconcile.”
Megan and MGK were later spotted leaving a marriage counseling center together in exclusive photos taken in February, but eventually parted in separate vehicles.
The pair met on the set of Midnight In The Switchgrass and had co-starred in the 2021 thriller.
Fox and MGK dated for over a year before getting engaged in January 2022.
Megan was previously married to fellow actor Brian Austin Green from 2010 until they finally divorced in 2021, after they split a year earlier.
The two share three children, Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6.
