“All of this business upheaval happened at the exact same time that I lost my brother,” she told Courier Mails’ QWeekend, adding that 2020 was “the worst year of my life.”
“I just said, ‘I’m done.’ I’m going to take some time off because it was a bit crowded.
“At that point I didn’t have the mental capacity to think about how I was going to save the business because now all I have to do is grieve.”

She went on to say she has taken the second half of 2020 out of her career because she doesn’t have the energy to do anything other than grieve with her family in Perth.
The sudden death of Jason Gale shook Megan and her family to the core.
Mr Gale, 49, was last seen buying petrol and water at the Popanyinning General Store on July 14, 2020, 160km south-east of his home in Perth.

After weeks of a desperate search by family, friends and police, he was found dead in bushland next to his 1999 Honda CR-V SUV.
The death was not ruled suspicious.
Mr Gale, an industrial mechanic, was known for “blowing up” but his girlfriend Belinda Murray said he had never disappeared before.
“All of this upheaval in the business happened at the exact same time that I lost my brother. I just said, “I’m done.” I’m going to take some time off because things have been a little busy,” she said
Ms Murray said Jason “really struggled” after seeing a man die in a tragic incident in 2018 at a sewage treatment plant south of Perth.
Chron Australia understands Mr Gale was one of a group of colleagues who were there with the victim when he was hit by a pipe and killed.
