Megan Gale shares ‘absolutely heartbreaking’ family news: ‘He’s gone’
Megan Gale and her family have been mourning the sudden death of their 10-year-old border collie, Bosco, for the past few weeks.
The former model, 48, made the heartbreaking announcement on Wednesday while paying tribute to her beloved pooch who lost his battle with cancer.
She said the symptoms of his illness came on “very quickly” and that he was too advanced to receive treatment when the TV presenter realized he was “very poorly”.
“It took me a while to get over his loss and get used to the fact that he’s gone,” she wrote in a lengthy message, along with multiple snaps of the gorgeous dog.
“He was a wonderful energy in our household and a big part of our little family.”

She continued, “Unfortunately, he was very poor, he developed cancer very quickly, and by the time we found out, the cancer was pretty much gone.”
“Knowing how tough he was, he probably lived in discomfort for a while without showing any outward signs of it.
“Saying goodbye to this gentle, loyal and loving pup was absolutely heartbreaking, but we are so grateful for the 10 years we’ve shared with him.”

Megan went on to say that Bosco — whom she affectionately dubbed Boz the “Frisbee connoisseur” — is a “special dog” who “always made a real impression on people after they met him.”
The brunette beauty was “proud” to consider the collie part of her family, which includes her partner, former AFL star Shaun Hampson, and their two children.
Megan’s famous friends flocked to the comments on her tribute post, which showed Bosco living his best life with family members over the years.
