The British TV presenter is known for his controversial statements, which have even caused diplomatic protests in the past Jeremy Clarkson is once again at the center of controversy.
This time it was for a column he signed in British tabloid The Sun last Friday, in which he opened up about how he feels Megan Marklethe wife of Prince Harry.

“For marching naked through the streets of every city in Britain while the crowd said ‘Shame!’ shouted. and they throw loads of excrement at them,” Clarkson wrote in his lyrics, referring to the character of Cersei Lannnister, who faces a “walk of shame” in the fifth episode of the show’s tenth season.
The column has sparked widespread outrage from the public and some media in the UK.
LBC radio host James O’Brien called Clarkson’s words “absolutely disgusting”, while journalist Leona O’Neill said: “Disgusting comments like this are never okay. they are not black humor or jokes“.
“They are sick and disgusting and should never have been printed in a newspaper,” O’Neill wrote on Twitter.
The presenter’s daughter, communicator Emily Clarkson, also voiced her disapproval.
The British Press Regulatory Authority As of this Monday, Ipso had received more than 12,000 complaints from the public. The Sun newspaper removed the column from its website, while Clarkson published what it called an “attempted apology.”

Over the years, Clarkson has been heavily criticized for his “racist” remarks.
What did he say about Markle?
Clarkson’s comments about the Duchess of Sussex were released the day after the premiere of part two of the Harry & Meghan documentary series on Netflix.
In it, the couple tells the complicated relationship they had with the British media before and after their marriage, largely because of the impact that insurance coverage had on their lives and mental health.

“Everyone my age thinks the same way,” he added.

Elsewhere in the text, Clarkson compared his hatred of Markle to his hatred of her. the First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, or the serial killer Rose West.
“Meghan, however, is a different story. I hate them. Not like I hate Nicola Sturgeon or Rose West. I hate her with every cell.”
West was a serial killer who, along with her husband Fred, killed at least 12 girls over 20 years in the UK in the 1970s and 1980s.
The rejection of his words
Following numerous criticisms over the weekend, Clarkson posted a message on Twitter calling his reference to the Game of Thrones scene “awkward,” which he said “resonated with a lot of people.”
“I am appalled that I have caused so much damage and will be more careful going forward,” he added.

Ipso told the BBC that complaints – almost equal to those received for all of 2021 (14,355) against all outlets – were being assessed under their standard procedure.
On Sunday, Clarkson’s own daughter said: “I want to be very clear about that I reject everything my father wrote about Meghan Markle.”
“My views are and have always been clear when it comes to misogyny, harassment and the media’s treatment of women,” wrote Emily Clarkson, a well-known British podcast host.

That’s what Scotland’s First Minister told the BBC he has “pity” for the moderator.
“I can’t imagine what it must be like to be so consumed and distorted by hatred towards other people, and in her case especially towards women it seems that you end up writing a vile and venomous insult,” said Nicola Stör.
