TMZ reported on Thursday (March 3rd) that 57-year-old Samantha claims in court documents that 40-year-old Megan lied to her and their family during the hearing. The author of The Diary of Princess Pushi’s Sister accused her brother and sister of making up stories about growing up in “virtual poverty”.
Samantha claims that their father, Thomas Markle, paid Megan to attend “elite and expensive private schools.” She also claims that their father took over the training of Suits alumni at Northwestern University, despite Megan’s claims that she worked to pay for her own way through college.
Elsewhere in the trial, Samantha claims that Megan lied during the story about the last time the siblings saw each other and when the older man changed her last name back to Markle.
According to the publication, Samantha also claims that the retired actress lied about Samantha and Thomas, 77, so that the two “can not interfere or contradict the fake story and fairy tale life story [she] invented. ” She reportedly accused Megan of negatively affecting sales of her resume, preventing her from finding a job and causing her emotional and mental stress.
Megan’s lawyer, Michael Camp, responded to the allegations, telling TMZ in a statement: “This baseless and absurd case is just a continuation of a model of disturbing behavior. We will give him the necessary minimum attention, which is all he deserves. “
The Duchess of Sussex said in an interview in March 2021 that she had not seen Samantha for “at least 18, 19 years”. She also claims that her half-sister “changed her last name back to Markle in the early ’50s … only when I started dating Harry”, adding: “So, I think that says enough.”
