Insiders claim Meghan Markle has been “upset and overwhelmed” by the way she and Prince Harry are portrayed in an episode of South Park in recent days.
The episode, titled “World Privacy Tour,” pokes fun at the couple’s grievances while another character snidely introduces Meghan as “sorority girl, actress, influencer, victim.”
The satirical series poked fun at the couple’s demands for privacy while it did a commercial blitz for the Prince’s autobiography Waaaah – a dig at Harry’s recent memoir Spare – in last week’s brutal episode.
According to a source in California, Meghan has spent the past few days “excited and overwhelmed” by the way she has been portrayed. The source told The Spectator that the Duchess of Sussex is “annoyed by South Park but refuses to watch it all”.
A royal commenter earlier today said Harry and Meghan’s lawyers would “keep an eye” on South Park.

It has also been suggested the show could have “legal ramifications” for the Sussexes’ lawyers.
Royal commentator Neil Sean told Fox News that officials for the couple are now watching the series closely for further attacks.
He said: “According to sources close to the ex-royals, like so many things with Meghan and Harry, this appears to have legal ramifications.
“Your legal team is keeping an eye on the episode to see what’s wrong and what could be turned into something even more sinister.”
Mr. Sean added that South Park’s creators have not received any legal correspondence to date.
The prince and princess decide to flee Canada after “bashing up” the monarchy

Last week’s episode featured the “Prince and Princess of Canada” – a young royal couple vocally asking for privacy while commanding attention.
The red-haired prince and his wife, wearing the same pink outfit Meghan wore for Trooping the Color in 2018, are seen promoting the prince’s book – Waaagh – whose cover closely resembles Harry’s memoir Spare.
The episode is full of digs at the Sussexes, with main character Stan calling their cartoon equivalents “dumb prince and his dumb wife,” while Kyle complains about the private jet parked outside their home.
The show begins with Kyle’s younger brother Ike, who was adopted from Canada, heartbroken at the news that the Queen of Canada – who resembles the late Queen Elizabeth II – is dead.
The Prince and Princess of Canada are spotted at a grand state funeral where they are booed by the rest of the royal family, who are accused of crushing the Canadian monarchy.
Against the backlash, the couple appear on breakfast TV to demand their privacy.
When the prince arrives on the set of Good Morning Canada with a book he wants to promote, he holds up a placard that reads, “We want privacy,” while the princess’s banner reads, “Stop looking at us.” .”
The presenter asks if he has now become a journalist himself by covering the royal family for his new book Waaagh, although he hates them.
“We just want to be normal people — all this attention is so hard,” replies the prince.
In Paris, locals watch in amusement as the couple chant, “We want our privacy!!”

The pair are challenged by the presenter, who questions how much they desire privacy, and the royals storm off the set.
The pair hop on their private jet and embark on a global tour of We Want Privacy, complete with dancing rainbows and a catchy theme song.
They visit France and India, where they sing their privacy-friendly slogans to amused locals — and even a field full of kangaroos during a pit stop in Australia.
Eventually, they settle in the quiet town of South Park, Colorado.
“If we moved here, people would think we were really serious about wanting to be normal.”
The royals clash with the locals, arriving with a drum kit and demanding privacy from the neighbors.
Kyle wakes up one morning to find the house covered in magazines depicting the princess.
This includes a cover that closely resembles that of The Cut magazine after it did a cover interview with Meghan last summer.
When Kyle confronts the royals, the princess yells, “He victimized me!”
The prince jumps to defend his wife.
‘That’s a scandal!’ he cries. ‘Let’s see how he handles my blue penis!’
Across the street, the Prince and Princess of Canada can be seen peering through a window as Kyle inspects their handwork
This appears to refer to a case of frostbite described in Harry’s autobiography, Spare.
The prince and princess turn to a crudely named marketing agency to protect their privacy.
“There’s this horrible spy who lives across from us,” explains the prince.
The branding manager says he already has a file on the princess that she created a few years ago.
“I already have your brand: sorority girl, actress, influencer, and victim,” he tells her.
The Prince’s mark is defined as: “Royal Prince, Millionaire, World Traveler, Victim”.
The prince suddenly has an aha moment in the agency and realizes that he doesn’t want to be a brand.
“Trying to make us a brand just made us products,” explains the Canadian prince.
“No more magazines and Netflix shows, we can just live normal lives!”
He gets up to leave and heads for the door – but his wife stays at the brand company.
“Come on honey, we don’t need this place!” he says. ‘Honey?’
The prince goes alone. Kyle returns to his friends, who invite him to play. Then the prince comes and asks if he can play too, before pulling out his drum kit.
