On Friday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry met at the Sushi Bar in Santa Barbara. In photos provided by TMZ, the Duchess of Sussex wore a chocolate brown wrap dress with long sleeves and a white shoulder bag. Her hair was tied back in a long ponytail and she wore gold earrings.
Harry was dressed casually, wearing white pants and a black t-shirt. The restaurant is located near their home in Montecito, California. The Prince recently returned to his family after visiting the UK for King Charles’ coronation last weekend. He flew in for one night and departed shortly after the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, although several other celebratory events were planned for the next few days. Back in California, however, his priority was clearly his son Archie’s birthday.
Meanwhile, Meghan was photographed hiking and enjoying the California weather this weekend. She also planned an intimate party for Archie, which her mother, Doria Ragland, also attended, and a lemon cake made from lemons grown on her own property. According to TMZ, the Duchess was rumored to be pregnant with a third child based on her hiking photos, but a visit to a sushi restaurant could shed the light.
Meghan’s Mother’s Day is likely to celebrate her two children Archie and daughter Lilibet. Posting her first Mother’s Day with Archie on Instagram, she shared a photo of his adorable feet wrapped in a blanket over a lawn covered in forget-me-nots, Princess Diana’s favorite flowers. The Duchess paid tribute to Harry’s mother and their mothers everywhere in her caption.
“I pay tribute to all the mothers of today—past, present, mothers-to-be, and those who have been lost but remembered forever,” she wrote. “We honor and celebrate each and every one of you.”
