Meghan Markle’s sister’s Twitter account was blocked because she tried to bypass a previous ban

On Monday, Meghan Markle’s sister suspended her Twitter account for allegedly trying to circumvent a previous ban imposed by the social network back in 2019.

Samantha Markle, 57, Meghan’s half-sister, had her second Twitter account, @TheMarkleSammy, suspended from the platform three years after her first @sammy-markle account was suspended.

While Twitter didn’t say why the first account was taken down, it released a statement that the second account was suspended “due to ban evasion” and the decision came days after BuzzFeed reported that the account has been repeatedly used to harass Meghan and questions. the credibility of her two pregnancies.

Samantha’s lawyer Douglas Kahle denied the allegations and said the Twitter account was hacked and the tweets posted by Buzzfeed were “photoshopped”.

‘RS. Markle’s email and other accounts have been hacked several times, and it is highly likely that these claims were made by third parties to defame our client,” Kahle told BuzzFeed.

“Due to the urgency of this matter, we are still investigating,” he added.

BuzzFeed reporter Ellie Hall, who spent months investigating Samantha’s Twitter account, said she contacted Samantha earlier this year but never said her social media accounts had previously been hacked.

The BuzzFeed article claimed that Samantha had used various Twitter accounts over the past four years to spread slanderous statements against her half-sister, with many claiming that Meghan was never pregnant with her two children, Archie and Lilibet.

The tweets allege that Meghan wore a fake maternity costume, that she had a miscarriage, that the two children are actually dolls or not even Harry’s children, and that the Duchess may have been related to Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein.

There is no evidence to support any of these claims, and representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not immediately respond to ‘s request for comment.

Samantha, who Buzzfeed called “Megan’s biggest troll,” also allegedly contacted many “anti-Megan” accounts to spread false theories about her half-sister.

The Twitter ban is the latest drama between the stepsisters after Samantha filed a $75,000 libel suit against Meghan last week over a “false” narrative Meghan sold while talking to Oprah Winfrey.

In an explosive court document, Samantha alleged that the Duchess of Sussex launched a “deliberate campaign to destroy” her and her father’s reputation.

She claims that her half-sister tried to destroy their trust so that “they could not intervene or disprove the false narrative and fabulous life story that the defendants concocted.”

She also claims that Meghan lied when she said she “essentially pulled herself out of real poverty” and from the age of 13 she had to take low-paying jobs to “make ends meet.”

Meanwhile, Samantha unleashed a startling salvo on her sister’s friend and biographer Omid Scobie, calling his novel In Search of Freedom a “book of lies.”

Sussex’s lawyer responded to the lawsuit, saying it was “baseless” and they would give it “the bare minimum necessary attention”. Scobie also denied the claims.

The lawsuit also lists Meghan’s claims that she has no siblings, that she has little contact with her family, and that her family can only afford a $4.99 salad at Sizzlers as incorrect.

Meanwhile, Samantha also criticizes Scobie and Caroline Duran’s book In Search of Freedom, which she calls “the fairy tale story of her sister’s life.”

She claims that the book caused “significant and irreparable harm, damage and harm” to her reputation.

She listed a number of texts in the biography that she disputes, including that she dropped out of high school.

The statement refutes this by saying, “The truth is that Samantha was seriously injured in a fall from a rope swing, which left her left side paralyzed and blind in one eye at the time, and then she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.” .

Samantha dismissed Meghan’s idea that she only dated “a few times” and that she “never had a relationship” with either her or their father.

The lawsuit says: “This is a lie. Samantha regularly spent time with Defendant throughout her childhood and even lived with Defendant in the same apartment building for a time.

“Samantha picked Meghan up from school; regularly took Megan to get ice cream and to the mall and spent many family reunions with the defendant.

“Meghan’s father was Meghan’s primary caregiver, and Meghan and Samantha saw each other regularly.”

It adds: “This is Meghan’s attempt to create the false impression that Meghan was essentially an only child with no contact with other family members, or, as Meghan stated on Oprah, that she has ‘no siblings.’

“Meghan apparently wanted to reassure the public that her family members knew nothing of her life and thus had no right to debunk the false narrative that Meghan fabricated about her life.”

The document stated: “Plaintiff has suffered actual damages in the form of loss of her job, loss of income from the sale of her autobiography, emotional and mental stress, including anxiety and fear due to threatening and violent emails and messages that she regularly receives, and harm to her reputation and prestige.

Samantha is seeking $75,000 from her sister and has requested a jury trial in the case, making one count of defamation and another count of circumstantial defamation.

Meghan is also at loggerheads with her father, Thomas, 77, who launched a series of videos earlier this week featuring a violent attack on his daughter and Seeking Freedom.

On Monday, royal pundit Richard Fitzwilliams suggested that the Sussexes would take Thomas’ latest move with “disdain” but would likely keep an eye on his actions nonetheless.

“Meghan’s family has been extremely hostile towards her and the title of this new channel ‘A Wonderful Friendship’ sounds extremely amateurish, but the Sussexes’ lawyers will no doubt keep an eye on its content,” Fitzwilliams told MailOnline.

“Future episodes are unlikely to generate any interest unless they contain personal attacks on Meghan.”
