He apologized for “foolishly and thoughtlessly” taking a “journey into the past” during the “ongoing battle.”

“Over the last few days, I have foolishly and thoughtlessly allowed a trip down memory lane on Suits to distract me from the very real and ongoing fight that everyone at @sagaftra continues to wage to achieve realistic 21st century compensation and protections for our members to achieve,” he wrote in a message shared on his Instagram Stories.
“It was an embarrassing oversight for which I am incredibly sorry.”
Patrick added that he was grateful to those who “gently and quickly corrected” him.
“I look forward to continuing the fight in the days and weeks ahead,” he added, along with the hashtag “#sagaftrastrong.”
Patrick shared a carousel of retro behind-the-scenes photos of Meghan and other “Suits” stars on Tuesday with the caption, “I miss my friends.”
One of them was a black and white portrait of Meghan looking into the camera with her hand on her lips.
Another showed Prince Harry’s wife lying on the floor with her bare feet resting on a cupboard next to her co-star Sarah Rafferty.

In one, Meghan was seen lounging on a plush sofa, and in another, she was seen playfully taking shelter under an umbrella.
Another shot showed the former actress standing on set in a pencil skirt and white blouse, staring at the floor and holding a script.
If people were upset that he shared the snaps during the strike, it wasn’t immediately apparent in the comments section.
In fact, many Instagram users were thrilled by the glimpse into the making of the show and the royal’s brand new photos.
Some even speculated that his posts were an indication that the hit series would make a comeback.
“It can’t be a random relapse, can it?” Surely it must be a Suits reunion or something,” one person surmised.
It wasn’t clear from the comments whether people were upset that he shared the snaps during the strike. Many users were actually excited and wondering if the show was coming back

The SAG-AFTRA strike website states that members should not share “photos, videos” or “social media posts” that “promote striking work or striking companies.”
