Megyn Kelly thought Jennifer Lopez and Shakira wore outfits that were too revealing when the singers performed at the Super Bowl halftime show two years ago.
“I object to J.Lo and Shakira showing their vaginas at the Super Bowl,” the former Fox News primetime star said on her podcast Friday.
“Like I don’t want that.”
Kelly addressed the issue when she spoke about women “embracing their bodies.”
“It has to be appropriate to the situation,” she told her guest, comedian Bridget Phetasy. “But I don’t mind only women hugging their bodies or showing their bodies like in the pictures.”
Kelly praised former supermodel Paulina Porizkova, the 57-year-old widow of the late “Cars” frontman Ric Ocasek, who has been active on social media, posting photos of her nude or scantily clad body to embrace aging.

Earlier this month, the Czech-born beauty posted a picture on Twitter showing her in a thong bikini while the camera is trained on her bum.
“Paulina Porizkova just had a really interesting post,” Kelly gushed.
“She showed her butt [and] She looks amazing.”

Kelly’s criticism of J.Lo and Shakira echoed criticism from several parents who said it was too risqué for a mass audience tuning in to Super Bowl LIV on February 2, 2020 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.

Bronx-born pop star Lopez writhed around a pole while Shakira, the Colombian-native, twerked and belly-dance – all while both wore skimpy outfits.
“Not suitable for children at a Super Bowl halftime show. Just J Lo’s outfits in general.” an outraged Twitter user, TurtlePower98Posted.
Another pearl-biting reviewer went further: “Absolutely the worst, most vulgar halftime show ever.”
