“Today you first birthday off this earth and the pain of your absence eats away at my soul. Today more than ever I felt the lack you make me, your warm and loving hug and your interest in always knowing if I’m happy,” Yolanda said in her message.

The Cuban mother said she spoke to her daughter the day before she suffered Stroke requiring hospitalization and until his later death.

You told me about your future plans, your desire to see me, we talked about your children, your life, without knowing that it was our goodbye. I arrived in Cuba hoping to see you and you were gone. In her message, she tells how, when she found out about her daughter’s death, she locked herself in Suylen’s house and tried to fill her emptiness with memories. She rediscovered her presence in the photographs, in the artworks the artist created and in every object she commemorated.

“You left my girl, but Your precious work remains. It will be hard to forget you. they all loved you There was no place where you would arrive and be ignored because you radiated an infectious energy,” he commented.
