Inter Miami star Lionel Messi was injured during the game against Toronto FC on Wednesday evening.
The 36-year-old Argentine left the game in the 37th minute. At the moment we don’t know what’s keeping the football legend busy.
Messi played a first game after missing the Florida club’s last clash and a clash with his national team. Fatigue was cited as the reason for his absence from these two meetings.
In 11 games since joining Inter Miami, Messi has found the net 11 times and provided five assists.
The Florida club plays the first of a series of six games in 17 days against Toronto. Miami currently has eight points and two games left on DC United, the team with the final playoff spot in Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference.
