Mexican actor Manuel Ojeda dies, reports the National Association of Actors

(CNN Spanish) — Renowned Mexican actor Manuel Ojeda has died, according to a tweet from the National Association of Actors (ANDA), of which the artist was a member. “Our condolences go to his family, friends and colleagues. Rest in peace,” wrote the ANDA on his Twitter account.

Televisa, the Mexican medium he worked for, mourned the death. “His career in theater, film and television leaves an indelible mark,” wrote the television house on its social networks. The Mexican Ministry of Culture also expressed its condolences on the death of Ojeda via the networks.

The actor was known for his roles in the films “The Lost Emerald”, “In Hell of All So Feared”, “Pedro Páramo, The Man of the Crescent” and other projects during his long career. He was 81 years old.
