Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips are raising their children together in close proximity at Princess Anne’s Gatcombe park estate and with four girls among them it’s the perfect opportunity for plenty of hand-me-downs.

Yesterday, the Queen’s great-granddaughter Mia Tindall, 8, looked chic in a navy blue monsoon coat as she arrived at the memorial service for her great-grandfather, Prince Philip.

It may have sounded familiar to avid royal observers after Mia’s cousin Savannah Phillips wore the same coat at the Christmas Day 2017 church service at Sandringham.

The £79 Monsoon Mia military coat in navy with embroidered butterfly detailing on the collar, red trim and gold buttons is no longer available, suggesting the garment is most likely a holdover from Savannah, now 11.

Mia looked on her best yesterday as she joined her parents Zara and Mike for Prince Philip’s memorial service at Westminster Abbey.

In her most famous appearance to date, the eight-year-old arrived hand in hand with her mother Zara, Princess Anne’s daughter, and her rugby ace father, with whom she lives on the Gatcombe Park estate.

Often known for her boisterous demeanor, she looked grown up in her dark blue coat and matching headband as she sat quietly next to her parents at the service.

The king, who is 22nd in line to the throne, is the eldest of Mike and Zara’s three children and is a big sister to Lena (three) and Lucas (10 months).

Mike previously said Mia has “quite a lot of personality about her,” and the two are often seen frolicking together at various racing events while supporting rider Zara.

Mia has made several public appearances with her family over the past few months and just last week joined Mike at the Cheltenham Horse Trails.

Meanwhile, Savannah, now 11, and her sister Isla, ten, the daughters of Princess Anne’s son Peter Philips, couldn’t resist giggling in the pews during the service yesterday.

The two girls provided some much-needed light relief as they fooled around in the pews while waiting for the service to start at Westminster Abbey.

The mischievous little royals, whose mother is Autumn Kelly, appeared to be in high spirits as they giggled with their dad in a sweet moment caught on camera.

Isla, who also celebrated her 10th birthday yesterday, made silly hand gestures for her dad while her older sister Savannah, 11, chatted with Mia and the cousins sang along to the hymns throughout the service, all while sharing a grin or two interjected the direction of the other.

The Phillips girls have become known for their sassy antics over the years, most notably at Princess Eugenie’s wedding in October 2018, where Savannah entertained Prince George by imitating the trumpet fanfare to announce the Queen’s arrival while he giggled on.
