The Mega Millions jackpot climbed to an estimated $137 million after no ticket matched all six numbers in Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing.

Players in Michigan and New Jersey matched all five numbers to win $1 million, and players in Georgia and Texas matched all five numbers and had the Megaplier option to win $4 million.

When do Mega Millions drawings take place?
Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time, 10:00 p.m. Central Time, 9:00 p.m. Mountain Time and 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Drawings will take place at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia.
How to play Mega Millions?
Each Mega Millions game costs $2. For an additional $1 per spin, players can add a “Megaplier,” which can multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to five times.
Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 to 70, and one gold mega ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 to 25.
You win if the numbers in a row of your ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn that day. There are nine ways to win a prize, from $2 to the jackpot.
If no one wins the jackpot, the money will be added to the jackpot for the next drawing. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.

What is the Megaplier?
Most states use a Megaplier® feature that allows players to increase their non-jackpot winnings by 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x. In a participating state, you can play Megaplier for an additional $1. Any non-jackpot prize won in a Mega Millions® game will be multiplied by the Megaplier number drawn if you purchased the Megaplier feature.
