The Rolling Stones are on tour in Europe and are expected in Milan on June 21st

Contagion of Covid for Mick Jagger in the middle of the eternal Rolling Stones’ SIXTY tour, which has been taking place in Europe for the past few weeks. This was announced by the same British band on their social profiles, stating that the concert scheduled for tonight at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam will be canceled and postponed to a later date. According to the note, there appear to be no particular alarms for Sir Mick, who will turn 79 at the end of July and has certainly shown some symptoms upon his arrival in the Dutch city today. The Stones are expected to attend the San Siro concert in Milan on June 21st.

The Rolling Stones — the note reads — deeply regret the postponement of that evening, but the safety of the public, musicians and workers must come first. The show is rescheduled to a later date, tickets are valid for that date, stay tuned for details.

The SIXTY Tour, the Stones’ first tour after pandemic restrictions and the death of their historic drummer Charlie Watts last year, will feature 14 concerts in 10 different countries. The first British stop was last week at Anfield Football Stadium in Liverpool, birthplace of the Beatles, their great rivals in rock’s wild years, where the formation – along with Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood – are now also making their way onto The African-American Drummer Steve Jordan, replacing Watts, paid homage to the Fab Four by interpreting a song. And in midsummer, two concert events will follow, set against the spectacular backdrop of the BTS Festival in London’s Hyde Park.
