Mick Jagger is vacationing in Sicily again. His love and attachment to the island is no secret as he often vacations here. And he would have bought a house here too. The Rolling Stones leader was immortalized at a restaurant in Ortigia in a photograph shared by chef Giovanni Guarneri.
Dinner in the restaurant Jagger was one of the customers at a downtown restaurant for dinner. A place that the rock star visits regularly, as the owner, chef Giovanni Guarneri, emphasized: “I have always thought that returning to a restaurant is the greatest compliment, when the customer then remembers the dishes and wants to try them. “You again, it’s wonderful, and if it ends up being one of the greatest of all time taking the photo with you smiling, then what can I say: Thank you, Mick Jagger. Love for Sicily In the past, Mick Jagger had already testified about his stay on the island by posting some vacation photos. In 2022, his social postcards showed him with a basket in his hand while picking an orange, posing with a sunset over the sea behind him and in the Greek Theater of the Neapolis Archaeological Park. He had already vacationed on the island between 2020 and 2021, when he spent some time in the countryside of Val di Noto and also decided to buy a house in Portopalo di Capo Passero, a village in the province of Syracuse.
The new album The new holiday in Sicily comes a few weeks after the announcement of the release of the new album “Hackney Diamonds”, scheduled for October 20th. This is the historic band’s first unreleased work in 18 years. Jagger jokingly admitted that “we were lazy,” even though the band, despite their age, has almost always been involved in very long tours over the years. Two tracks on the album were recorded while drummer Charlie Watts was still alive. “The tone of the album is ‘angry’, but there are also love songs,” explained Mick himself.
