Some services offered by the Teams application experience significant network outages, particularly resulting in slowdowns in sending and receiving messages.
Microsoft, which manages the communications application widely used by companies, announced on its X account that an investigation was underway.
“We have identified a network issue impacting a portion of Teams services, and we are performing a recommissioning to resolve the issue,” Microsoft said on X on Friday.

The first complaints came in around 11 a.m., with a significant peak recorded at 2 p.m., according to Downdetector. The outage would primarily affect the application, but the online version would also experience an outage.
