The Israeli army has announced that it will give civilians in the northern Gaza Strip more time to flee to the southern coastal area. The Israeli army said traffic on the southbound road would be allowed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Italian time). The Israeli army also published a map with the exact route for this. The post, in Arabic, said in part: “If you care about yourself and your loved ones, go south according to our instructions.” Meanwhile, the Ezzedin Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ armed wing, announced that They attacked an Israeli force and destroyed two tanks. The ambush happened before dawn on Sunday. Its militiamen surrounded the Israeli forces that had entered east of Khan Yunis (south of the Gaza Strip) in a tight ambush after attacking them with Al-Yassin 105 rockets. Al-Qassam Brigades said it destroyed two Israeli tanks, adding that its fighters returned safely to their bases. Al Jazeera television correspondent previously reported that clashes continued between Palestinian militia and Israeli forces east of Khan Yunis. He also added that the Israeli army bombed the bridge between Nuseirat camp and the town of Al-Mughraqa in the center of the Gaza Strip. This comes amid repeated Israeli attacks on Gaza’s infrastructure, including water tanks and solar panels that power some vital facilities. However, on Saturday evening, the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, said it had attacked Israeli vehicles attempting to advance east of the town of Khan Yunis with mortar fire.

Hamas then accused Israel of carrying out a massacre at the Al-Maghazi camp while US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was in Tel Aviv and the region. “This confirms the responsibility of the American government for this genocide committed by the occupation with American weapons and the green light of President (Joe) Biden.” The movement adds that the Israeli occupation carried out the new massacre through direct bombing of the houses of the citizens of the Maghazi camp. Shortly before, Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that the death toll from the Maghazi camp in the center of the Gaza Strip had risen to 38 dead.
