Its 3D obstacle avoidance system keeps the M9 moving no matter what obstacles it encounters
Equipped with dual-line lasers that quickly detect the distance and height of objects in its path, the M9 can easily navigate around slippers, lanyards, and other small objects on the floor. The M9 creates a 3D environment of the house and helps it not get stuck or malfunction when cleaning. After learning the house’s floor plan, the M9 allows users to come and go as they please while the cleaning robot does all the work.
The pressurized mop mimics human movements
In some situations spot cleaning requires a little elbow grease. With a traditional mop, the cleaner must apply pressure while rubbing and moving the mop across the surface to successfully remove the stain. The designers of the M9 took this aspect into account when developing the mop in order to effectively clean stubborn stains. Combined with the M9’s three water flow rates, the pressure cleaning function mimics the pressure a human would apply to a traditional mop to remove dry stains and restore the floor to its original texture.
Its automatic wipe-lift function allows the M9 to move on different surfaces
Aware of the different surfaces and floor levels in a home, the designers of the M9 equipped it with the automatic mop lift function, which allows the cleaning robot to recognize carpets and rugs and raise the mop height accordingly. The automatic mop lift function raises the mop by up to 10 mm and increases suction power for a thorough carpet cleaning. In addition, the lift function prevents the M9 from bringing dirt and debris back onto previously cleaned surfaces.
