Miguel Bosé’s vocal problems began in 2019, at first he thought it was a temporary aphonia. But when he returned to Spain in 2021, the situation became more serious.
In this sense, the singer was forced to cancel all planned concerts in the country as he was unable to regain his voice. which led him to a state of despair where he was even forced to communicate through written notes, since he couldn’t utter a single word.
The gradual loss of his voice ranged from initial hoarseness to complete loss of the ability to speak. Although he was experiencing one of the most difficult moments of his life, Miguel Bosé chose not to tell his family and friends about what happened, as he generally does not talk about himself or his personal life.
The various causes of hoarseness
Miguel Bosé didn’t know the exact causes of his voice loss and thought about different possibilities.

For several years, Miguel Bosé suffered from deep grief over the loss of his voice and longed to be able to communicate with his children again, as he explained in an interview with the host of “El Hormiguero”, remembering those days with visibly emotion.
The path to recovery
At the moment, Miguel Bosé undergoes intensive training every day to strengthen his back. You will then receive sessions with a phoniatrist, a professional who specializes in diagnosing and treating voice disorders.
Despite the challenges, Bosé is optimistic and hopes to return to the stage soon. This possibility is obvious to him since he has informed Carlos Sobera that he intends to start a tour next year, more precisely in September.

The speech therapist tells me that I have “swallowed” my voice over these years and that I need to put it back in its place to regain my full performance.
