Miley Cyrus' alleged stalker was arrested after showing up at her LA home to give the singer a stuffed toy… five months after the star was granted court-ordered protection

According to TMZ, Miley Cyrus' alleged stalker, 52-year-old Alexander Karddalian, was arrested after arriving at the singer's LA home on Friday morning to give the artist a stuffed toy.

Notably, the 31-year-old Flowers hitmaker was granted court-ordered protection against the same individual in September 2023 – just days after he was released from prison.

Police told the outlet that Karddalian was arrested near her residence after Cyrus and her team made a call around 1 a.m.

The former Disney star, who was home at the time, and her team called to report a suspicious person after Miley believed it was someone she had interacted with in the past.

Sources told TMZ that Alexander allegedly showed up at their front gate with a stuffed animal.

However, security was able to arrest him while LAPD was called to the scene.

Police then took him away and he was later charged with disobeying a court order.

It wasn't the first time Miley met Karddalian. In September 2023, the singer was granted court-ordered protection from the alleged stalker last year.

At the time, TMZ reported that Cyrus claimed in his lawsuit that the 52-year-old arrived at her home just days after he was released from prison.

The performer also claimed that Karddalian also sent unsolicited letters detailing his obsessions with her, which dated back to 2018.

In the filing, Cyrus claimed that the individual made numerous requests for money. He reportedly made sexually charged comments about her.

The singer also wrote that Karddalian's “obsessive behavior” became all the more concerning in the summer of 2022 when he allegedly arrived uninvited at her Los Angeles residence twice.

Both times the person in question was said to have been escorted from their property.

The performer also claimed that Karddalian was arrested in December 2022 and was incarcerated at San Quentin State Prison until his release in August last year.

Cyrus wrote that the individual allegedly returned to his property just days after being released from custody.

She also claimed that Karddalian sent her a letter saying he would visit her home immediately after his release from prison.

Although the person had reportedly visited her property, he was prevented from seeing the singer by the security team who informed the police of his presence.

The actress claimed her alleged stalker was threatened with arrest if he returned to her apartment in the future, which he ultimately did.

Cyrus also wrote that Karddalian used her home address for health insurance purposes.

She claimed the person wrote her a letter stating that he “didn't care if he lived” if she didn't respond to his attempt to communicate.

The actress stated in her filing that her alleged stalker was struggling with “severe mental health issues” and also claimed that he also had what she described as a “dangerous fixation and/or obsession” with her life.

The singer has also claimed that the person's behavior left her concerned for her own safety, as well as the well-being of her mother Tish and boyfriend Maxx Morando.
